No joke!

It is said that there is many a true word spoken in jest.

Well, I was almost able to prove that this is so...

The caption read 'Front garden, masquerading as a wader scrape'.

Several days later I took the following shots...

OK, now concentrate on the dry stane dyke (translation: dry stone wall) and the field beyond, which is just over the road.

Oh, sweet! That's gotta be a harbinger of good things. Love those birds, even if they are among those-species-most-likely-to-give-me-a-coronary-whilst-tramping-about-outside. Love 'em.

They're just an adrenalin rush wearing feathers. But whilst they may cause arhythmia, I can forgive them that because of their drumming display.
