From memory the form is quite strict about which side of the garden gate (or hedge or wall) the species are observed.. unless of course your garden is defined as including a road, field and meadow..? I also cannot remember whether weather conditions feature. Rooks were in our garden today putting off my goldfinches from their snacking. They have all been exceedingly peckish the last few days and attack the peanut feeder making it land on the ground.
